All Bloc sunglass and ski goggle lenses conform to and exceeds the European standard EN1836:1997, American standard ANSI 280.3-1996 and Australian standard AS 1067.1-1990.
BLOC SMOKE POLYCARBONATE LENSES:
This lens transmits the full colour spectrum. It does not change the way colours are seen and is most suited for prolonged wearing in bright conditions and ideally suited for people who have an intolerance to colour transformation.
The Smoke lens is a category 3 lens which allows 8-18% light transmission. The lenses are heavily tinted for bright light conditions.
BLOC BROWN POLYCARBONATE LENSES:
Our brown lenses are excellent at cutting glare, working very effectively in varying light conditions and helps to reduce eyestrain.
The Brown lens is category 3.
BLOC VERMILION POLYCARBONATE LENSES: VE5 - The unique hue of this category 3 lens makes it a true all rounder, equally at home in the brightest conditions albeit mountain, street or beach. The grey content ensures natural colour transmission whilst allowing the vermilion to enhance red, green and yellow by eliminating a high degree of blue light, thus increasing perception of detail and dramatically reducing eye fatigue. Vermilion Cat. 1 and HDL (High Definition Lens) Cat. 2 - Both these lenses have similar characteristics. The light vermillion/violet tints help with contrasts against blue and green. Offering excellent definition in low light conditions with acceptable protection when bright. Ideal for sport played on grass particularly golf.
BLOC G15 GREEN POLYCARBONATE LENSES:
This green tint is truly the best all purpose lens, dramatically reducing eye fatigue in bright conditions and offering enhanced definition in lower light.
The G15 lens is category 3.
BLOC CITRUS POLYCARBONATE LENSES:
The citrus lens is a category 1 lens which allows 80-43% light transmission. This high definition tinted lens is ideally suited to low light conditions.
BLOC CLEAR POLYCARBONATE LENSES
The Bloc clear lens is usually only used at night or in low light conditions. The lens helps protect against foreign particles and wind penetration.

METAL OXIDE COATINGS (FLASH MIRROR):
A metallic coating applied to the front of the lens eliminating reflective glare and excessive light transmission. Colours include silver flash, gold, red, blue and green.
