Snellen Chart
In order for a certain degree of test accuracy it is important to follow this proceedure:
Letter height and distance in reality:
- Letter A: 88mm in height
- Standing Distance from Image: 6 meters
To work out the distance you are required to stand back from your monitor you will need to follow the steps below:
1. Measure the height of letter A, on your monitor, in millimetres and divide by 88.
2. Take the value from step 1 and multiply by 6.
3. The value from step 2 is the distance you need to stand from your monitor in metres.
