Your prescription may affect your choice of frames

Short sight:
Lenses to correct short sightedness will be thicker at the edges than in the centre. Your choice of frame will effect how noticeable this is. With smaller frames the edge of the lens will be thinner than in larger styles.

Long sight:
Lenses to correct long sightedness are thicker at the centre than at the edges. Thin or rimless frames will not suit these lenses, as they cannot be securely fitted into the frame. The stronger your prescription the thicker and heavier your lenses will be. If you choose a large frame, the glasses may become too heavy and be uncomfortable to wear.
