Introducing the Oakley ski goggles range. Oakley is obsessed with engineering quality snow goggles. With 30 years experience, Oakley continue to build on their heritage in the winter sport market.
Oakley goggles are instantly recognisable on the ski slopes with the distinctive eclipse O logo emblazoned on the strap. Oakley ski goggles are loaded with technology that includes superior lenses, advanced anti-fog technologies, performance lenses, layered face foam and adjustable straps. The wrapped designs of Oakley goggles ensure good peripheral view, while vertical inclination gives improved downward vision.
Superior Oakley Optics
Clear vision is essential. Oakley ski goggles are designed with superior High Definition Optics (HDO), which provide sharper vision without distortion. As you would expect Oakley lenses protect against 100% UV in addition to providing matchless impact protection. Superior optics reduces discomfort and eyestrain.
Anti-Fog Technology
Oakley goggles use 3 methods to prevent lens fogging.
Anti-fog treatment: An Anti-fog coating is applied to the inside surface of the lens;
Lens venting:
All Oakley goggles feature lens vents. The lens vents enable air to circulate inside the goggle reducing fogging.
Double lenses:
The two lenses are sealed with an insulating gap between the lenses. This gap ensures that warm and cold air is kept apart, preventing condensation and lens fogging.
Comfort and Fit:
If you wear your Oakley goggles all day they have to be comfortable. Oakley goggles feature soft-layered face foam and adjustable straps so you can customise the fit.
Urethane Goggle Frame:
Oakley goggle frames are constructed from a plastic called Urethane. Virtually indestructible it holds its shape whilst maintaining flexibility, even in extreme conditions. The textured interior surface helps to disperse light away from your eyes.
Layered Face Foam:
Soft-layered face foam provides extra cushioning and comfort. The outer layer is a polar fleece that adds softness. The majority of Oakley goggles a fitted with three layers of foam. The exception is the Proven OTG goggle, which has a two-layer face foam.
Adjustable Straps:
All Oakley ski goggles have adjustable head straps. This allows for a customised fit for a variety of head shapes, sizes and dimensions.
Oakley Goggle Lens Technology
Oakley XYZ Optics:
These Oakley lenses have been designed to correct distortion in other wrapped goggle lenses. Oakley XYZ Optics enables the production of optically pure goggle lenses with wide peripheral vision whilst providing maximum protection. Currently, XYZ Optics can be found on the A Frame, Crowbar and Stockholm Goggles.
Oakley Lens Materials:
Oakley goggle lenses are available as either Plutonite or Lexan polycarbonate. Oakley lens materials provide maximum protection and optimise clarity.
Oakley Plutonite Lenses:
Exclusively made for Oakley from the purest highest-grade polycarbonate with a scratch resistant coating. They are thin, virtually shatterproof, lightweight and strong. Plutonite lenses have the added advantage of blocking 100% of UV light (UVA, UVB and UVC) and harmful blue light. Oakley Plutonite lenses are fitted on the A Frame, Crowbar, Splice and Stockholm snow goggles.
Oakley Lexan Lenses:
Lexan is a high quality lightweight polycarbonate lens that has a good impact protection and integral 100% UV protection. Featured in the Ambush, O Frame and Proven OTG Oakley goggles.
