Smith Optics OCTOBER FEATURED ATHLETE : Eric Willett
Eric Willett has been working his way to the top in the snowboard world with an exceptional 2008-2009 year. Willett placed first in the Dew Tour Rail Jam in Breckenridge, fifth at the Dew Tour Slopestyle in Mount Snow and eighth overall for the tour. Known for his smooth, technical style, Willett has been right back to work travelling to New Zealand for the first stop of the Burton Open Series. Eric put down some amazing runs and ended up taking home the bronze metal.

Eric has been perfecting his skills and keeping up with the latest movements in the snowboard world. As double corks, switch 1080's, 450 on and off rails, and 100 ft jumps become the norm in the parks nowadays, Eric has been training and perfecting his runs at the Breck park in Colorado. Below is a wrap up of his season last year and some crazy tricks he'll be laying down this contest season.
