'71 Degrees North' is a brand new adventure show being aired on ITV for seven weeks during September and October. The adventure series features a host of 10 celebrities undertaking dangerous challenges to reach the Artic Circle. Set amongst the icy glaciers and beautiful snowy mountains of Norway it mixes spectacular experiences and pure danger, with sheer entertainment and breathtaking scenery.

The show is hosted by Kate Thornton and Gethin Jones, the stars taking up the challenge are: actors Shane Richie, Joe Absolom, Susie Amy, Lauren Socha and Marcus Patrick, sports personality Gavin Henson, presenters Andrew Castle, Konnie Huq and Diarmuid Gavin and entrepreneur Michelle Mone. The stars are split into two teams before they take on their first challenge, after each challenge the winning team gets to spend the night in a luxury cabin, whilst the losing team spend the night in the cold camp.

The challenges will test the teams to the limit and see them bonding for survival. They include; mountain trekking, reindeer herding, snow cave building, a ravine crossing, sleeping in tents attached to the sheer vertical drop of a cliff face and crossing vast expanses of snowy landscape on dog sleigh.

As always with any great challenge, Oakley has supported the show by providing all the stars with goggles and sunglasses. The guys will be seen wearing the top choice of all winter sports professionals, the Oakley Splice and the Crowbar goggles, while the girls wear the ever-popular Stockholm. For some challenges they can be seen wearing a mix of the Oakley Scalpel, Straight Jacket and Forsake sunglasses.
