Bolle is an official supplier of Val d'lsère 2009

Val d'Isère is classified as one of the exclusive resorts in the world thanks to the most impressive combination of splendid skiing and attractive villages with luxurious chalets down the hill. It is also made famous every year as the host of the Alpine World Championships, an event that attracts 100's of professional skiers and spectators. For 2009 Bolle became one of the official suppliers of Val d'lsère and were delighted to contribute to the success of such a popular event.

After the World Cups, the Olympic Games, Val d'Isère enters the very restricted circle of the Resorts who have organised the three events. The Alpine World Championships is held every year and host's 11 women's and men's ski events in those two weeks of competition. 73 nations stand for the most important sports event of the year in France.

Bolle sponsored professional skier, Marie Marchand-Arvier surprised the general public by taking silver in the Val d'Isère Alpine World Championships Super G event. Bolle, however, was not taken by surprise. Bolle have believed in her abilities for a number of years now and have backed her all the way. Just 0.40 s quicker than the Austrian Andréa Fischbacher and ahead of the game for most of the event, Marie has proved her immense talent! She is rewarded for the first time and gives the host of these 2009 Alpine World Ski Championships its first medal.
