Playing up an irreverent, cosmopolitan '70s charm, the Fendi sunglasses collection opts for daring sophistication.
Fendi sunglasses have an accent on large lenses shading into bright warm tones. Steel, gold and gunmetal rims outlining squares, teardrops, trapezoids and rectangles. Vibrant colours - fuchsia, yellow, brown, purple, turquoise - making all the difference for acetate. Hot new ideas putting a new twist on the style. Rimless plastic lenses keeping screws well in view.
A linear design for sporty Fendi sunglass models with cool techno effects, rubber tips, big boxy shapes, plus curvy ones for women, surprising colour sensations for men. Nothing classic about this look. Here eccentricity - as in hip modern appeal - is the way to go. More traditional, instead, the frames in antiallergenic high-tech titanium and the ultralight aluminium unisex ones with total-flex bars.
The new Fendi Sunglasses Collection is sophisticated and modern, and includes a wide range of rimmed, nylon, injected composite and plastic models, made up of female, unisex and for the first time, male versions too. Seven of the twenty-nine new models available in the collection are for men.
Lightweight metal, acetated or injected plastic and the type of leather often used in Selleria Fendi items are the materials used in the soft, wraparound, large and small, oval and slightly square-shaped models, the latter particularly for men.
The new material NXT has been employed for the lenses, a material that eliminates problems stemming from wear. The classic single-colours stand alongside flash mirrored glasses that copy the colours of the clothing collection: shades of pink, blue, camel, purple and turquoise.
The Fendi logo is the central point, interpreted and adapted to the various glasses frames: large temples on the acetates and on some metal temples, flex hinges on other models, that are sometimes emphasised using rhinestones or baguette crystals.
