Edurne Pasaban conquers her 14th 8,000-metre plus peak, wearing Cebe
The Spanish mountaineer, Edurne Pasaban has become the second women to conquer the fourteen mythical summits of the Himalayas, the fourteen peaks in the world over 8,000m, by reaching the summit of Shisha Pangma. Pasaban reached the summit in Tibet on 17 May 2010 whilst wearing her Cebe sunglasses. The Cebe Kite is available in 2 sizes, the Kite Small CB0947 and Kite Large CB0949.
What’s more, the success could continue if Pasaban is re-graded. Oh Eun-Sun, the South Korean who beat her by only a few days, may be ruled out as her ascent of Kanchenjunga has been contested. Edurne Pasaban could still become the first women to have climbed the fourteen highest peaks in the world!
