The Smith Gambler is a stylish, robust yet comfortable helmet compatible junior goggle that features an outrigger system and a molded dual slide adjustable strap to help ensure optimal safety and compatibility with helmets. Smith recommends the Gambler as being suitable for young people of 6 years and up. Although size requirements vary, we recommend that the Gambler is suitable for an approximate age range of 6-9 years. The Gambler can be worn both with and without eye glasses. The Smith Gambler is fitted with a double lens that is bonded in such a way as to create a thermal barrier that helps to keep the inner lens warm and dry, whilst the cold, moist air is kept outside where it belongs. The inner lens is also treated with Fog-X, a hydrophilic chemical treatment that is burned into the lens creating a micro etched surface, and as such can not be wiped away like other anti-fog coatings, which means that moisture is absorbed before fog can form. In conjunction to this, in-built ventilation ensures optimal airflow around the lens. Smith does not supply a goggle bag for the Gambler goggle.
