The Smith Cascade, like the Cascade Classic is a unisex goggle suitable for medium adult face sizes and in our opinion is also a perfect goggle for first time skiers and boarders and those who are looking for quality without a budget busting price tag. The Cascade features single-layer compression moulded face foam with a self-adjusting split ‘V’ nose that moulds to any face shape and provides a comfortable fit for all day use on the slopes. With safety ever present in their minds, Smith has designed the Cascade to be helmet compatible with an adjustable elastic headstrap. The Cascade goggle features a double lens that is bonded in such a way as to create a thermal barrier that helps to keep the inner lens warm and dry, whilst the cold, moist air is kept outside where it belongs. The inner lens is also treated with Fog-X, a hydrophilic chemical treatment that is burned into the lens creating a micro etched surface, and as such can not be wiped away like other anti-fog coatings, which means that moisture is absorbed before fog can form. The Cascade airflow lens also provides additional ventilation, which further enhances the efficacy of the lens. Smith does not supply a bag with this goggle.
