The Exception offers a vast array of features all packed into a stylish cutting-edge design. Building on Rudy Project’s success in techno-ergonomic 8-base sport designs and our revolutionary flip up technology, the Exception is truly a design masterpiece that has incorporated all of our major technologies in one model – including the option to add Rxability using our patented optical inserts (two configurations available, for low or high / progressive prescriptions). RP optic polycarbonate lenses can be put directly into the frame or ingeniously added to our flip-up mechanism that attaches to the frame. Please note however that this is dependant upon the prescription requirements of the individual and as such enquiries need to be addressed on a case-by-case basis. However, these options do offer two vastly different functionalities and appearances. The Exception incorporates Quick Change interchangeable lens technology, adjustable Ergonose nosepads (to eliminate fogging) and adjustable Kynetium temples equipped with our T-lock system (for a customised, total comfort fit every time and for every sport).
