Oakley Splinter sunglasses. The Oakley Splinter is part of the Oakley Active sunglasses collection. Whilst taking design inspiration from the Oakley sports sunglasses collection, the Oakley Splinter encapsulates a more street focused sunglasses style. The Oakley Splinter sunglasses model is manufactured from a C-5 alloy, a combination of 5 metallic compounds, which produces a frame that is both lightweight and durable. Oakley Splinter sunglasses have a wrap-around design, engineered with an 8.75 base curve to cut out irritating peripheral light creeping round the lenses.
Oakley Splinter sunglasses don't just look good they are incredibly comfortable too. The Oakley Splinter is fitted with specially engineered spring hinges. To ensure a comfortable and secure fit the Oakley Splinter is fitted with Unobtainium arm sleeves, which are designed to increase grip when you sweat. The Splinter’s lenses are held in precise alignment by Oakley's Three-point-fit system so contact is only made at the nose bridge and at the temples.
The Oakley Splinter sunglasses model is supplied with Plutonite polycarbonate lenses. These Oakley lenses block 100% of UV, including UVA, UVB and UVC, as well as blue light (up to 400nm) that causes eye fatigue. Oakley XYZ optics ensures that visual clarity is maintained no matter where you are looking. Oakley Plutonite lenses provide high levels of impact protection.
Oakley Splinter sunglasses are available with a choice of lens tints with polarised and Iridium coating options.
