Bolle's Didier Defago came 0.20s ahead of Bode Miller to win the Lauberhorn downhill race at Wengen.
ALONGSIDE HIS WIN AT WENGEN, DIDIER BECAME LEGENDARY IN THE WORLD OF SKIING BY WINNING THE MEN'S DOWNHILL WORLD CUP IN KITZBUEHEL. AFTER SIX YEARS OF PATIENCE HE IS BACK ON TOP WITH A RARE WENGEN- KITZBUEHEL DOUBLE.
The Swiss downhill skier, sponsored by Bolle, wears the Bolle Nova goggle (Macaw frame- Vermilion Modulator Lens). Bolle congratulates Didier on this victory, which demonstrates the efficiency of its ski goggles. With a team of Alpine athletes of several European nationalities (Finnish, French and Swiss), Bolle now has one of the best teams in the field with champions Kalle Pallander, Tessa Worley and Marie Marchand-Ariver.
Bolle has also enjoyed two gold’s this year (Tessa Worley, giant slalom in Aspen and Didier Defago, downhill in Wengen) as well as two other podium finishes (Gauthier de Tessieres, giant slalom in Val d'lsére and Defago, Super G in Val Gardena).
